Senior Vice President, Global Next Generation Technology Engineering at Citi
I've spent 25+ years building enterprise infrastructure — including 25 years at Citi — from racking servers in datacenters to deploying GPU clusters for AI workloads at one of the world's largest banks. I don't theorize about technology. I build it, break it, and ship it.
Outside of Citi, MoeCloud Group is where I stay hands-on. It is an AI-native operations platform where specialized agents coordinate real business processes while people keep approvals, judgment, and exceptions. I architected it, and I govern it with tenant isolation, human oversight, authority limits, kill switches, and auditability — the same controls I would expect of any system running in production. Two other efforts sit alongside it: SimpliInvest, an AI-assisted educational tool for first-time investors, and the Blockchain AI Foundation, which I co-founded. Both contribute to how I evaluate emerging technology, while MoeCloud remains my primary hands-on platform build.
I'm a proud Hispanic technology leader, and a lot of what I care about sits outside the job description: making complex technology understandable, and showing people what a path into technology leadership actually looks like. Through HISPA I've presented to students across New Jersey school districts, and I mentor emerging technologists on career strategy and the disciplined execution that separates ideas from shipped work.

Engineering Roots
Started in hardware engineering and datacenter operations. Built the foundation — hands-on, physical infrastructure, understanding compute from the metal up.
Citi VP — Global Hardware
Led global hardware and engineered systems at Citi. Managed cross-continent teams, vendor relationships with Dell/HPE/Lenovo, and large-scale deployments.
SVP — Next-Gen Compute
Promoted to SVP overseeing next-generation compute, HPC, and liquid cooling initiatives — modernizing global compute environments and integrating accelerated-computing platforms for real-time analytics.
AI/ML & Builder Era
Integrated GPU/AI/ML platforms, Azure AI, and OpenAI into enterprise workflows. Founded MoeCloud Group — the AI-native operations platform I continue to build — alongside SimpliInvest and co-founding the Blockchain AI Foundation.
Enterprise AI Leadership & Hands-On Building
Leading global next-generation technology engineering at Citi — AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, governance, resilience, and practical execution. Active contributing member of the Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Cisco advisory councils. Panel participation at HPE/NVIDIA and Intel/Lenovo events in New York, and volunteer technology presentations for HISPA students across New Jersey. MoeCloud keeps the work hands-on. Emerging areas such as tokenization and quantum are evaluated for what can responsibly reach production — not treated as the center of the work.
